Week 6 - Day 1 working from home

A headache all day, but thankfully it has gone now. Lots of work to try and index, which piled up over the 2 days last week that I wasn't working.

Did a little bit of watering at lunchtime, but hardly stopped. Worked until 5.20 then went for a long walk ending at the allotment. Really pleased to see my little mini greenhouse has done what I wanted it to do, and brought the strawberries on. I watered them, and my broad beans. Still no sign of the carrots so it looks like I need new seed. I've lost track of which seeds are new and which I've had for years. They lose their outside packets, so I just keep sowing and hope. My team colleagues are all having success with their seeds too, and shared photos on our 'Teams' chats today.

Home just before 7. Jon made an omelette for us for tea. Now I'm going to prepare some quiz questions for something later in the week. Then perhaps more trying to teach myself crochet. So far, so bad!! Might have to give up soon...it is so slow, and I cant seem to wrap the wool around my fingers like with knitting......but, I'll give it just one more go.
