Whilst it would be helpful if they helped, they stayed out of each others' way, didn't break anything, didn't start swinging sticks about and didn't ask too many questions that required me to unbend and walk over, so I could finish tidying the east verge and dig up the artichokes, albeit only to reinstall them in almost the same place after clearing up the grass trying to choke them.
