Day 40 - Marc Bolan’s shrine

Cycled to Barnes today and passed the site where Marc Bolan of T Rex died. Have passed it many times in the car but have never stopped before as on a double yellow line. There is a memorial statue which was put up a few years ago but the board is more interesting as it’s regularly updated. I like the ‘Ride a White Swan’ record and swan. This was a hit in 1970 and Marc was killed when only 29, in a car accident at this site in 1977.

- finished painting pebbles with butterflies for grandchildren
- finalised Tesco online order
- put away some winter clothes and got out summer things
