Resch’s Bottle Opener

We don’t have a dedicated junk drawer but the  one below the cutlery has some items that could be classified as junk. They’re not in use, they’ve been replaced by newer models, they cannot be thrown out.

Resch’s is an old bloke’s beer. K got a taste for it in his youth when he worked in inner-city Sydney pubs where the clientele started early and drank middies, slowly, until it was time to knock off. In places where Resch’s is not available, K establishes (or delegates me to find out) what the old blokes are drinking.

The local pub has good Resch’s.
