Lazy bones

Despite our best efforts, isolation has somewhat limited the amounts of steps that the kids get each day.  So, over breakfast this morning, I pronounced that they would both have to hit 20,000 steps each day in order to qualify for dessert.

The little lady instantly burst into tears, crying "But I just want to read books and be lazy!"

Sorry sweetheart, it was just a joke.  Although I do admire your honesty!
