Not Mono Monday ....
... Blue Jay instead.
I had to run to the hospital pharmacy (I know, right?!?) this afternoon to pick up some refills that I had called in this morning. To say I was a little nervous about this is an understatement. I have never seen the parking lot so empty to parking was a breeze. And as I walked in there was a screening table where my temperature was taken and I was asked some coronavirus related questions. I passed the test and went to collect my meds from the pharmacy. I tried to touch as little as possible and I was wearing a mask but when I returned to the car I made sure to use some antibacterial lotion on everything!
From the hospital I went to Wegmans to get some groceries to keep us going for a while. Wegmans is limiting the number of people in the store so there was a small queue to get in but other than that my shopping went as planned.
When I returned home I needed some wildlife therapy so I sat in the backyard with my camera, the squirrels and the birds. I wasn't at all surprised when this beautiful Blue Jay came to visit. But that changed my plans for posting to Mono Monday! He/she is much better than a faceless selfie anyway! At least in my opinion! Please see large.
