Fern frond

Our family have a lovely garden, with lots of native bush attracting tuis, wood pigeons and others ......I have yet to capture either successfully in my many visits here. Today is another day such as that. In the end I ended up doing some macro of the fern unfolding.

This afternoon we farewelled Liz ..... A beautiful service. Her husband, son (janelle's partner) and daughter gave such amazing eulogy's .... So brave. The service was celebration of her life.

Another cracking day in Wellington, we have come home to put Ella and Harry to bed but they have remerged as it is too hot to sleep. We are watching Africa.
