Now that's better...

Eight days separate the extra pic and the pic above.  The algae had started to take over the pond so just over a week ago we started the laborious task of pulling out all the offending weed.  It was so thick in places that the ducks were walking on it.  Not good.  Now, at last, the ducks and coots have their pond back and have returned in force.

I'm being a bit slow with commenting and replying at the moment, simply too much stuff going on.  Sorry.
