Tiny Tuesday blossom and lichen

This tree has been planted near the roundabout by the royal William yard, used to be the victualling yard for the navy, just by Stonehouse pool which is tidal! When I took the picture I noticed that some of the branches were lichen covered. I was once told great this indicates good air quality, unsurprising at the moment but in more normal times not the case. The William yard is now an assemblage of restaurants of great variety and an artist workshop areas for a bakery and is very busy! An absolute joy at the moments sit is very tranquil and not busy at all however that represents real hardship for numerous people so it will be good when things return to some semblance of normality
