Up with the times

I felt like a good walk today so despite the warning of rain I set off to see the Iron Men. Lots to see on the way there and with poor weather it was fairly quiet. The beach was deserted except for the wildlife and I saw a beautfiul Heron, glide across the sky and settle where the river flows out to the sea. (see very cropped extra). It rained for most of my return journey so the waiting cuppa and the central heating on was very welcome. I caught up with my daughter over skype which was good before tackling a job I have been putting off!
