What a difference a Year Makes
I have a shady bed in the garden that gets little sun so in the Autumn of 2018 (when we re-designed the garden), rather than attempt to grow grass here we planted it up with some woodland and shade-loving plants. The extra shows it roughly this time last year and the main blip is now. I'm really pleased, we had some white Hellebore in December, followed by snowdrops, daffodils, lungwort, violets, cowslips, anemones, grape hyacinth, heuchera, purple dead-nettle, bugleweed and now bluebells, with delphiniums, lupins, alliums, wild geraniums, and buddleja still to come.
I think I'll need to do some thinning out and moving plants around come the Autumn but it's been a delight to watch the different plants come into flower.
