A vase of (artificial ) flowers.

An interesting start to the day. I switched off my radio alarm clock as usual, but no clock appeared.I tried a lamp-- no light! It was a power cut.On opening the flat door I could see that the fire doors were shut and the emergency lighting on, which was a little disturbing.However I had a call from the Manager to say that the engineers were repairing a local fault, which took an hour.What a start to the day.
Anyway I decided to 'do a few flowers' this afternoon.
