Lovely Lemon Lichen

January's daily challenge - grow

Went in for a closer view of the world today. So I've been scrambling around under the trees looking for mosses, fungi and lichen.

It's quite soggy everywhere and was raining - so I ended up a little damp round the edges with 2 wet knees!!

Actually found out a bit more about lichen by visiting the British Lichen Society webpage. Fascinating to know it's not a single organism.

Now yellow isn't may favourite colour (does nothing for my pale complexion), but I liked the combination of the grey and the yellow here.
