Further easing of coronavirus restrictions

Our government just announced the next phase in loosening the regulations from 11th May on. The ban on public and private gatherings of more than five people remains in place, but quite some changes will be possible under strict conditions: opening of all shops, restaurants, elementary schools, etc.

Typical for our country is that many competencies remain in the cantons. For example, each canton can now decide for itself whether to hold written final high school examinations or not. Both solutions will be accepted by universities.
