Lock down....Day 45....Spain

Vivid red amaryllis plants.....looking good today in the sunshine!.
I’ve had these plants for several years.....
they spend the whole year in the back garden....
but they reliably bloom at the end of April/ beginning of May
every year. 
( I had a couple of uncertain days, when it was a race between the snails eating the buds....and me!. 
All the nurseries are closed, so I was lucky that we had a little repellent left over from last year!)
