Powerless

When in the shower this morning the lights and all power went off. A quick dry down and on to the what’sapp group created for the lockdown. Reassured to discover everyone in the stent was affected and it was not just us.

One of our neighbours was very quick off the mark and informed us that they hoped to have power restored in around 2 and a half hours. Two hours later power restored.

In the interim I headed to B&Q to get some DIY and garden goods. Within 40 minutes I had worked through the queue, done the shop and had packed the car. All well organised, sanitation stations, and everyone respecting distance.

Back home, cut the front and back grass, worked in the greenhouse as rain threatened. Photographed these tulips. Then paperwork and emails.

Settled in to comfort TV with GBM and the Repair Shop.
