Re-wired

Every now and then I treat myself to this magazine, I find it really interesting. As somewhat of a hoarder, I keep them; and due to the efferct of the spine design I have meant to take this shot for a while now. It's strange that the title and date is in two different poistions - I'd like to know why.... different designer for the cover that month?

Obviously, due to the aspect ratio of the image, I have cropped it. I hope it works better than the other crops I played around with, such as slightly less or more cropped than this.

I'm quite pleased with the finished piece, it's quite abstract in a way. I wonder if Condé Nast International would like to buy a copy for their offices?
