Bizarre Object

I decided to play golf this morning. The weather was dull, but dry and I haven't played since November. I needed some practise. The guys I usually play golf with cannot walk round. They have to have a buggy and ride. I can't see our local course allowing buggies for quite some time yet as it is just too wet, so I was forced to play a round on my own. A bit sad.

While walking round, I found today's blip. A seashell. I could hardly believe what I was seeing in the middle of the fairway. We are over 60 miles from the nearest coast. How on earth did a whelk shell make it's way onto a golf course in Stevenage? Bizarre.
