two birds with one stone

Was looking for a new bike to use at lunch time at work as a keep fit thing. Popped into a well known bike shop and looked around (loads of bikes on sale) but only one took my fancy. It was a bit shabby and had been in the shop for a while. They would not sell it to me because they had a new boxed one in stock for £299.00. Left the shop disapointed. Went home looked at the same shop online. They were doing 20% discount on the bike I wanted so reserved a bike. Got a call a while later from the shop to say they were out of stock but would sell the ex-display model ready built for £217.00 and I could pick it up in half an hour. Went to pick it up and they only asked me for £200.00 and gave me a years worth of servicing. Funny how things work out.
