Happy Birthday Captain Tom Moore

I watched this morning's BBC coverage with Captain Tom Moore on this, his 100th birthday, followed by a flypast of Spitfire and Hurricane aeroplanes (see extra).

Tom (now Colonel) Moore came to the attention of the media when he began his support for the NHS by planning to walk 100 circuits in his garden before his 100th birthday, aiming to raise £1,000. To date he has raised £30,000,000. That's thirty million pounds.*

Truly, one of life's heroes.
