AT LAST

Six feet, four and a half inches, and at last, at very long last I have finished knitting the scarf. I bought the wool on Orkney last June and have been doing a bit here and there ever since. Never again will I knit a scarf, not unless it is multi coloured, multi patterned or very, very short. Not 76½ inches.

The pattern said knit to required length or until yarn used up and, note the miniscule bow of left over wool, I didn't cheat. But once finished I retrieved my ongoing sock knitting and ...... started to enjoy knitting again.

I should not mutter so, it is a very nice scarf, just tedious to work on ....... and I am trying to ignore the fact that it makes my neck itch.
