Richard is back!

What an absolutely glorious day!  15 degrees, blue skies.....i went down to Baddeck to do some shopping and it was so lovely to see folks!   then had a good walk about Baddeck, down by the water, then a bit thro the village....so deserted  (see extra)!   but everyone was in such good spirits, smiling and greeting each other with big smiles!   I feel a sense of renewed hope, spring will indeed come to us here soon!

Then Linus and Patrizia delivered Richard here, for the start of his summer/fall time with us!   He will stay for the first 2 weeks in the Spruce cabin, we're just been extra careful, and he is very happy to be there!   But the road to the cabin is just one big sink hole...so we got the wheel barrow and all 5 of us moved all his stuff, which included enough food for 2 weeks.....into the cabin.   Then we hung out in the sun for about an hour or more and had a lovely visit!   it was such a delight!

Squash, Carrot and Ginger soup has been made, salad about to be made, Terry will bbq the steak....boy we live well don't we!
