Four Seasons (almost) in One Day
We had it all today. Sunshine to start, grey clouds, rain, sunshine again, hail, wind, cold, sunshine once more, take off a layer, put it back on again. Thursday nights at 8pm see us clapping outside for the NHS whilst my daughter blows the vuvuzela that I bought for her in South Africa in 2010. People bang pots and pans, play mouth organs, shout and cheer and it gets louder every week. Thursday nights also mean "Jay's Virtual Pub Quiz", this is an online quiz started at the beginning of lockdown, 6 weeks ago, for Jay's pub quiz mates. He expected to get 40-60 people that first week, he got 60,000. Tonight he topped 180,000 people. How amazing. There will be some weird and wonderful stories to be told to future generations about our time in lockdown, especially about the strange orange madman who thought that injecting ourselves with disinfectant was a great idea......
