The US news reminds me of Incan sacrifices.

It takes seven positive experiences to outweigh one negative one, because humans evolved to pay attention to bad things as they were risks to our survival.

The people willing to sacrifice everyone so they personally can get out, the people taking their guns and screaming at nurses and lawmakers, are so selfish and so bad that it would take massive numbers of stories of good, caring people to counter. 

Those good stories don’t make the headlines but we need them desperately, and I think the selfish people need them too. From the stories here on Blip, I think we easily outnumber them seven to one. Thank goodness for you.
