Autumn framing Coronet Peak

We had a wonderful walk around Lake Hayes this afternoon. The autumn colours are magnificent at present.
Sometimes it’s tricky maintaining social distancing on the narrower parts of the trail. My son-in-law is calling social distancing the ‘magic dance’!

Our Covid-19 rates are still on target, but there’s definite trends towards being more casual than we were
in Level 4. A funeral yesterday for a prominent Māori marae Orator saw 100 people turn up, in spite of the family’s best effort at staying at 10. Is really hard sometimes. Let’s hope there’s no bad fallout from it!
