Baking Bagels
I have been practising making my own bread for about a year now. It's been great fun and relatively successful but I now need to be more adventurous with different doughs, techniques and flavours.
In my household, bagels are currently number one in the popularity list of homemade bakes. The wet cold weather on Sunday meant it was perfect day to stay in and make bagels. They are a bit tricky as you have to lightly poach them before putting them in the oven and the danger is they become too soggy.
I had better get eating - before they get devoured by the others!
