Light at the End of the .... Drinking Straws

Fun with straws and torches.

Today at school a student (14 yrs old) asked me where I was last week. In my silly, habitual manner I lied and told him I was toboganning.

He appeared unsure of what tobogganing was, so I further explained that I had been doing bob sleigh like in the film 'Cool Runnings.'

He asked full of curiosity he I was doing it for. He appeared to accept my answer of Great Britain. But then he did a double take and said

"hold on sir, I don't believe you. You are not British"

I was weeping with laughter that he would accept that I was doing international bob sleigh, but was sceptical that I was british!
