Bye Bye Conifer

There has always been a half dead conifer outside the house where the front garden meets the drive.  It is now no longer! I sawed the branches off which went into the skip, then after a lot of patient digging out and pure strength from The Dadski the roots were finally free and it has gone!  There is still quite a lot of root digging out left to do, but the garden looks fab.  We also found quite a nice long trough underneath lots of ivy.  The plan is to replace the conifer with a sweet cherry tree.  Loads more to do tomorrow, but hail has halted play for today.

Minnie has also been for a play walk with a puppy up the road.  They are both now totally shattered and fast asleep!
