Wild Garlic
Hetty was a pain in the bum last night! She sleeps in her bed in the kitchen.
She whimpered and whimpered and we did not want to give in to her. In the end, I went down stairs, prepared to sleep on the sofa, and she curled up immediately on the rug alongside and slept. It was getting on for 1am.
Clive took her along the canal before 8am and then Florence and I took her to the Belvedere woods at midday. The wild Garlic is in full flower. It is beautiful.
My eldest brother fell off his bike at speed yesterday! A broken collarbone and 2 broken ribs. He says it was a friend of mine that called the ambulance but no one has come forward. Anyway, he's at home and recovering. Poor chap.
