Red Campion

This wee chap surprised me. My daughter and I climbed Arthur's Seat to wash our faces in the Mayday dew. We set the alarm for 6am and we were at the top by 7am. The sun had risen when we left the house but not fully. This red campion caught my eye, it's a wild flower from my childhood, but the light was grey and it was in the shade too. Yet, it is (in my opinion) the nicest of my morning shots. I didn't put this one on my May 1st facebook post. My 1st photo of the day is my blip photo for today.
