Cumbria Here I Come

By marpaul

Well I never......

.......dreamed that I would ever get to 300 blips! I am even more determined now to get to the magic 365! Blipland is a wonderful place to be and I've enjoyed getting to know people from around the world and looking at their journals. One of the great things about Blipland is that it doesn't matter how good or bad you are at taking photos its all about recording "your" day! I really do appreciate anybody who looks at my journal and leaves comments, stars and favs!

Right, now back to today's blip, I changed my mind right at the last minute and had to rewrite my journal! I had some work to do in Carlisle this morning and had arranged to meet somebody for coffee and a catch up afterwards! Enroute to the coffee shop nr Dalston I kept my eyes peeled for a potential blip and spotted this tree in a field. I really like the shape of the tree especially the new growth from the lower part which has a shape all of its own.

By the time I'd finished coffee the watery sun which we'd had all morning had long gone only to be replaced with rain so my plans of a possible trip to Caldbeck with Bonnie didn't materialise. Walked Bonnie around the village before it got dark and we nearly got blown away but at least it will make lighting the stove a lot easier!
