Leopard cat
Starting to struggle for good blips. With no garden I can’t do the classic bee on flower so beloved by Sheol and Incredibish (queue tiny violin). I did see this quite incredible looking cat though. Looks like some kind of snow leopard, the real life version was much more striking than it shows up in the photo even.
We’ve got to the end of another week. James doing overtime again tomorrow so planning to just potter around solo. On the one hand I’m totally sick of lock down, on the other the thought of actually doing something with my weekend is now far too exhausting, and I am quite pleased for the excuse to bumble around at home. It’s almost like the lockdown has ended here anyway. All the builders are back at work (wearing face masks on top of their heads or round necks), the roads are now too busy to cross without pedestrian crossings, people are queuing on the high street for takeaway coffees, the parks are busy etc. I sometimes wonder if this is part of the government’s plan, gradually everyone gives up on it all without ever mentioning it: year 2600, parliament performs the ancient monthly ritual of ‘reviewing the lockdown’ in which a government minister takes a vow to follow the science and the leader of the opposition must respond with the phrase “there isn’t enough PPE”. No one remembers how this tradition started or what any of it means.
Luckily we have just discovered a few more great telly shows so have those to distract us in the meantime!
