A flicker of red.....

.....among the trees had me intrigued as I stepped out onto cold dewy grass to see what was catching my eye. Twas a hollyhock glowing in early morning light, standing tall and bold it looked as though it owned this peaceful morning. Needless to say it was a quick blip before popping back inside to the warmth of our house.

Friday.....pleasant sunny day, 21C, a good day for housework and washing my car. Tomorrow A arrives home, can't wait :)
