Foraging...
after the storm. After a big blow I like to comb the beach for things that wash up or are uncovered by the waves. I collect beach glass, driftwood, interesting rocks and shells. Just about anything the surf has to offer. The waves washed oysters up high on the beach yesterday. We picked up 64 high and dry. They would die in a short time in this weather. We threw back a lot more then we kept. It just goes to show if you live in the country Mother Nature provides a good meal if you know where to look.
