Purple Pops

Question:  does morning dew on the face work if I'm not in Scotland???

This is the first year I've been able to photograph this and get the actual color.  Perhaps the gray sky helped.  Also blooming:

Front:  purple rhododendron (Monrovia dwarf purple?), bleeding hearts, narcissus, rhododendron, forget-me-nots, burkwoodii and allegheny virburnum, myrtle

Back: mahonia, serviceberry, star magnolia, pink magnolia, daffodils, forget-me-nots, chinese ginger, forsythia, pulmonaria (lungwort), myrtle
