Old rust and metal

Does anyone not love rust? It's so attractive!

I was at this place today and had to cut it short. I took a friends daughter's photo mounted on a paint stick, similar to "Flat Stanley." I stuck it in the door of that old car door/window to take a photo and it slid into the interior. Most unfortunately I was not able to retrieve it! I am upset. I even decorated the stick with this striped ribbon.

So I continued on looking around. And managed to cut the top of my foot on the sharp edge of this huge rock as I was stepping over it. That part of your foot is bony and my skin has thinned. Lesson learned, even though I detest wearing sneakers other than hiking and fast walking...I have to wear them on excursions like this.

This morning I was riding my bike and it felt so freeing. I was about 2 miles from home and realized it felt so free because I forgot to wear my helmet. I have never done that. It made me not want to wear it again! Not safe...cars turning right on a red light often don't stop.

Do I have atrophy brain??!!
