Thanks Holland !!!

The government of Holland donated 500,000 daffodil bulbs and the city of Rotterdam donated another 500,000 bulbs to NYC as a living memorial to the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks. The flowers bloom everywhere: in parks, along highways, in community gardens and in front of fire houses, police stations, libraries and schools through-out the five boroughs. These are outside my building and there really are flowers everywhere this time of year because of 1 million donated bulbs as well as the thousands of volunteers that helped plant them back in 2001.
