Autumn by the Mighty Clutha

I gave myself a little treat by driving the car to the start of The Outlet Track, and strolled down the river to the first seat at the corner.  Was disappointed that the leaves on the Poplar trees had already gone.  Oh, well, the Willow still had a few yellow leaves on it.  The breeze and sun came and went, but because I stood there for a while, finally the sun came out and the breeze dropped.  Just perfect.  The extras are of the track.

Home for lunch then I had a walk down to the lake, it was showery, but because I had my umbrella, I was snug and warm.

The last extra is of the Wasgij so far.  Time to light the fire, and settle in for the evening.  Snow is forecast on the top of the mountains!
