Tuesday

We have quite a few pictures of writers dotted around the house, most notably Colette (seen here), Virginia Woolf and Iris Murdoch.  Oh, and Gertrude Stein.  I am not quite sure why we don't have male writers - I wouldn't mind a picture of Charles Dickens as he is a big favourite.

And yes, this is a total emergency blip.  It can't be right when you are standing, camera in hand, just staring round the living room for 20 minutes and not seeing anything!  Thank goodness for short fatty lens!  

K. went to Liverpool for a few days and I had spicy meatballs for dinner.
