A new slant on birdwatching today at Conwy RSPB Reserve - trying to stay upright against prevailing wind and horizontal rain, laughing at a drunken heron battling in flight against the gusty blasts, empathising with the crowds of curlew, redshank and lapwings hunkered down in the lee of an island, marvelling at the aerial displays of the gulls as they swooped and dived.....
