Mixed Messages

First - not to worry, transmission of the virus is by sneezes and coughs, transmission from contaminated surfaces is highly unlikely. Now we have, "don't worry about being in closer proximity with strangers".

You could wear a mask suggests Sturgeon and BJ, except we don't have any for Joe public. "Masks won't protect you" - I guess that is why front line health workers don't use them. Oh, and now the most likely source of transmission is contaminated surfaces!

Now I appreciate it is a learning experience for everyone but there are other factors involved in these policy changes - availability of resources, cost versus benefit, economy, lobbying from goodness knows how many stakeholders. The best way to change public opinion is little by little, and I truly think that is the way we are being manipulated. 

At least we are being spared the lunacy of the Orange one.

And hurrah Kim Jong-un isn't dead! Or is he? Pretty good at the old CGI and robotics those Koreans.

Enough! I'm stopping watching the news for a few days, so unless the church bells suddenly start ringing and hilltop beacons are being lit I'm going off grid (apart from blip obvs.)
