pretty display

An evening walk around the allotments. I spotted this display which looked more like a garden than an allotment. I was informed that this was one of two managed by one of my neighbours and that the concentration on this one was to be the growing of soft fruits, the cages for these are still under construction. The extras show the dried up small pond on the nature reserve due to the long dry spell we've been having and the pile of old wood which has been deposited on part of the nature reserve to be removed at a later date - the result of a lot of hard work that has gone into improving the allotments as a whole.
