Old Fashioned Pleasures

Daughter Jay has just brought me an lovely Old Fashioned cocktail as I sit slyly watching Fallon’s Angler fishing videos from YouTube on the TV. I am shortly anticipating arrival of MrsB’s tasty Maldivian dhal (along with her ‘dry’ tuna curry and spring cabbage salad sides). Cooking is well on the go and is already wafting some delicious aromas from the kitchen. I realise I will get the TV remote wrestled from my grasp after dinner, but hey it is well-worth it.
