Living the High Life

Today, Scott and I headed into town to do a little bit of shopping and take some photos. On the spur of the moment, we decided to climb the Scott Monument. What a climb! The view made it so worthwhile. I've uploaded some of my other photos from today on Flickr if you would like to have a look.

On the left you can see the Clock Tower of the Balmoral Hotel with Calton Hill in the background. To the right, an exceptionally quiet Princes Street due to the Tram works. Speaking of trams, Scott and I went into the model tram. Hmm. I'm not impressed.
