Misty Trees

Yesterday we had torrential rain most of the day; even in bed at nioght we could hear the rain beating on the windows and roof.  This morning it had stopped raining but the world was very wet. All day the forest remained misty. Even in the evening (19:00) it was still misty and as it grew dark the mist changed to fog and most of the forest disappeared.
I'm not sure what those birds are, perched high in the birch tree. I think they are either jackdaws or crows.
I worked a fair bit outside today with wood for the two stoves, moving one of the stacks to a drier place where it will stay until next winter, and refilling the indoor supplies for the two stoves.
