Day 40 – Baby

We went for a walk by the canal this afternoon as R had told us of 7 cygnets swimming with their parents by the Slateford Aqueduct. They weren’t there, but we did see a pair with cygnets by their mother in the reeds by Merchiston Park; not good enough for a blip though. However we did see a pair of Mallards with 6 ducklings on the canal. The wee ones move so fast that I concentrated on getting a single one rather than a group shot.
