Happy Name Day to me!
In Poland, the feast day of the saint after whom you are named is celebrated as much as (if not more) than your birthday. My parents, legend has it, have picked this particular saint, as her feast day is on the last day of April, and in communistic Poland May 1 was always off (the international workers' day). So were I to have a party, I would have the next day off. :-)
We celebrated with a meal ordered from a local Thai restaurant, and a fresh ginger cake LM and HD baked for me. It was lovely.
I lollygagged at night, and HD and the canines went to bed before I did. When I came to the bedroom, I found everyone sleeping soundly, as you can see. Too cute...
