Do keep up!

Had a trip over to Thryburgh Country Park in Rotherham today. The weather was better than anticipated but as you can see the light wasn't brilliant. I'd hoped to see a little owl that lives nearby, but no joy. However, I did see some different birds than we get locally to add to my year tally: goldeneye, red-legged partridge, pochard, golden plover, little grebe and great-crested grebe, who were actually displaying. Disappointed that my photo of them was a bit blurred, so I thought I'd go with the 3 birds theme from last week.
