Lovelands Lane

This is Lovelands which is a few minutes walk away from our home in Chobham. The lane leads down to a ford which, although little more than a stream, nevertheless catches cars out when the water level is high. Indeed on this walk we saw the driver of a car contemplate the ford and decide against it. Beyond the ford the lane leads into Pennypot Lane. I don't know the derivation of either Lovelands or Pennypot Lane, so will include researching this as another "useful thing to do" during lockdown.
