Day 50: As The Crow Flies
Today's walk was a little more ambitious than yesterday's.
When I woke this morning and found that I could, after all, walk without too much pain after yesterday, I decided to go a little further.
There is much debate as to whether the timetable and distance restrictions apply rigorously to us in Casares, since the municipality is somewhat spread out in smaller concentrations, but I prefer to take no chances.
There were reports yesterday of drones checking to see who was taking exercise when and several fines doled out to people who chose to flout the rules imposed by the government. I am sure that is called anarchy, but there you go.
By going up the hill and then back on myself on the other side of the valley, my walk stretched to well over two kilometres, while remaining within one kilometre of home. As the crow files.
I didn't see another soul the entire time, but never mind. I felt better.
And I was back by 10. Just.
It's already another very hot day, so some lounging about on the terrace in the shade is certainly called for.
Have a safe and happy Sunday.
